IMPORTANT NOTE: This article is only applicable to clients of Sitebiz Payment Services. If you do not use Sitebiz Payment Services as your merchant processor, these instructions do not pertain to you.
PCI Compliance Merchant Validation
Once you have enrolled with Sitebiz Payment Services, you are required to become PCI Compliance through their program in order to avoid PCI Non-Compliance fees.
You will need to follow the link and instructions below:
- Select Registration at the top of the screen.
- Enter your Merchant ID (MID)
- If you do not know your MID, contact Support.
- Enter your Tax ID or SSN
- Enter the Billing Zip associated with your business.
Click inside the yellow box to continue. Once on the next page:
- Enter your Tax ID or SSN
- Choose a password
Once you have successfully created your login, you will be instructed to click to NPC logo in the top left corner to continue, then follow the link to the next page to reach the PCI Compliance Tool.
Part 1: Merchant Information
Most of your merchant information should already be entered here. You may need to add an email address to receive PCI newsletters and notifications.
Part 2: Type of Merchant Business
Select ONLY E-Commerce.
Part 3: Relationships
Does your company have a relationship with one or more third-party service providers (e.g. gateways, webhosting companies, airline booking agents, loyalty program agents, etc.)?
Does your company have a relationship with more than one acquirer?
Part 4: Processing Solution
What solution do you use to process credit cards?
Please select ONLY Moto/E-commerce.
Do you store any sensitive cardholder data electronically?
How do you process payments?
Hosted Payment and iFrame.
Select Add Solution.
Under Service Provider, select CyberSource (including authorize.net, Managed Hosting, and K.K.)
Under Service, select PIN Acquirer Payment Processing - POS.
After completing all the sections of your merchant information, the information should look identical to the screenshot below:
Check the box that states I have read and agreed to the terms & conditions, and select continue.
There will be multiple prompts displayed that will simply ask you to attest and continue. Once completed, you should be redirected to a summary page where you will be requested to electronically sign using your Name, Title, and last 4 digits of your Tax ID or SSN.
You have successfully completed the merchant validation and should be PCI Compliant for one year. The merchant validation process will need to be completed annually in order to remain PCI Compliant.
PCI Certificate of Validation and Site Seal
After completing the merchant validation process, you can select Summary from the top navigation to review your current PCI Compliance status. You can also download your Certificate of Validation and get the official Site Seal, which can be placed on the footer of your website.
