reCAPTCHA is a free service that protects your website from spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA uses an advanced risk analysis engine and adaptive CAPTCHAs to keep automated software from engaging in abusive activities on your site. It does this while letting your valid users pass through with ease.
To integrate into your site, you'll need to complete two steps.
Step 1 - Registering for reCAPTCHA:
Navigate to https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin and log in to your Google Account. If you do not have a Google Account, you will need to sign up for one.
Once you are logged in to your Google Account, you will be instructed to register your site.
a. Set a Label for your site. (Ex. sitebiz.com)
b. Choose the type of reCAPTCHA. Select the first option, reCAPTCHA v2
reCAPTCHA v2 will be a visible mechanism that visitors will need to go through in order to proceed with the submission of the form.
c. Specify your site Domains. (Ex. sitebiz.com)
d. Accept the Terms of Service and click Register.
On the next page, you will be given a Site Key and a Secret Key. Both will need to be saved and pasted into the admin panel of your website.
The HTML snippets that are also provided and generated at this step are NOT required for this integration.
