To edit and or create more content pages navigate to:
CMS > PAGES > MANAGE CONTENT
On the left, you will see a page tree with all the default pages created for your store and any custom content pages that may have been added to your site already.
Click on the page you wish to edit.
In this example, we will use the Terms & Conditions page.
Upon page load you will see 5 tabs available to click on:
- Page Information
- Meta Data
This section is where you will assign the Page Title, Status (page enabled/disabled), URL Key (ex: yourdomain.com/[URL KEY] ), and whether you want to include this page in the main navigation menu.
This section contains the HTML source code of the selected page. This code can be edited and published from this page. This will affect what visitors see, whether HTML is invalid or not. Use caution.
You can preview your edits to this section by clicking the Preview Page button in the top right. To save your changes, click the Save Page button to the right of the Preview Page button.
This section is set up by the front end developers and in most instances will not need to be adjusted.
This section has two fields, Keywords and Description. These relate to how the page is found and viewed in the search engines.
This section will be where you can preview or restore previous versions of the page, versions which are saved every time an edit has been made and the changes were saved.
