Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) is an agreement between suppliers and retailers stipulating the lowest price an item is allowed to be advertised for sale at.
** MAP pricing information is included in the datafeeds from many of the distributors that we connect with.
** Many of the feeds will include COST, MSRP, MAP
** Your DEALER_SALES_PRICE will be calculated using the specified markup and cost.
If a product has a MAP price the customer browsing the site will see the following
- the MAP PRICE if your DEALER_SALES_PRICE is LESS then the MAP
- will see the DEALER_SALES_PRICE if GREATER then MAP
There are other things that can effect the price displayed to the user. These include
- tiered pricing
- special price (overrider)
