The footer of your website appears at the bottom of every page of your site. Information such as your store's contacts, links to associated social media accounts and/or the website's blog, and supported brand logos are contained in the footer.
You can easily update or change this information by navigating to CMS > STATIC BLOCKS.
Here you can find all of the static blocks you have created. These blocks can be added to certain pages or even to other blocks to create links to other pages, advertise sales, or display sliding banners.
Select the static block you wish to edit. When the editing page opens, you will see the HTML coding that generates the content of the footer.
Instead of trying to edit the footer information like this you can select the Show / Hide Editor which will transform the HTML into a Microsoft Word-like format. This allows you to create/edit in a more simple fashion and easily add photos, videos, and hyperlinks.
You can see the input options at the top of the text field. You can use these tools to create the look of your website's footer.
Once you are done and have finalized the information in your footer, you can select Save Block.
Now you'll want to flush cache and reindex if necessary:
SYSTEM > CACHE MANAGEMENT. Select Flush Cache Storage at the top right of the page.
SYSTEM > INDEX MANAGEMENT. Select All, Submit next to Reindex Data at the top right of the page.
